Manager Matt Taylor reflects as the Grecians get their second win and third clean sheet on the trot after a 2-0 win at Scunthorpe United on Tuesday.
On the performance Matt says it was a “top top performance” but added “I would have liked to score that second earlier.”
With Matt Jay scoring his fourth goal in four days, Matt said about the academy product: “he’s in great form at the moment… he’s our go to man”
Another academy product scored with Jack Sparkes netting his first league goal for the club, with Matt saying, “It wasn’t the cleanest of finishes and he’s known for scoring good goals”
