City skipper Matt Jay says that the side must put the disappointment of Tuesday night behind them and focus firmly on redemption as they head to Rochdale this weekend.
"We have to dust ourselves down from Tuesday and put things right straight away," MJ said as the Grecians eye up mounting another unbeaten run.
"A lot was spoken about our unbeaten record, but it wasn't really something the players felt up until we got to that 20 mark. We had a bit of a debrief about how we've been as a collective and how proud we were, and now there's no longer that pressure on us to try and keep it going.
"It changes nothing for us but we'll be looking to bounce straight back."
