Matt Taylor has given his thoughts ahead of Port Vale's visit to St James Park this weekend for City's first League One home match since May 2012.
After last week's 1-1 draw at Lincoln, which Taylor was pleased with, City now have the opportunity to pick up their their first third tier win in ten years against a Vale side that were last in Devon just 92 days ago.
"Port Vale have only made five or six signings so their outfield players haven't changed too much," he said.
"We don't expect too many changes in their style or shape but you can never predict too much - they might make more signings before Saturday or pick up injuries. But we have to look the same way we did particularly in the first half last weekend.
"We're at home, for a number of seasons our home form has given us strength for a number of seasons and we're very hard to beat at home - that's how we want to start the game at the weekend."
