📝 Match Preview: Bolton Wanderers (A)

Exeter City make only their second ever trip to the University of Bolton Stadium this Saturday, where they will face 5th placed Bolton Wanderers.

The Trotters, who were 4-0 winners over Manchester United under-21s in the Papa Johns Trophy on Tuesday night, have won one of their last five league matches, though still sit well within the play-off pack. City were pegged back to a 1-1 draw in the dying seconds against Sheffield Wednesday last time out, despite an impressive performance against the Owls.

Gary Caldwell's Thoughts

The Grecians will be looking to build on last weekend's performance against Sheffield Wednesday as they take on another side who sit within the top six.

"Bolton are a very good side and they have a clear way of playing," Gary assesses.

"They have built that up over a number of years and we have to be prepared to work hard and be prepared to be organised and from there we have to be good on the counter attack.

"Just like every game in League One, this will give us another challenge."
