Interim boss Kevin Nicholson has given his assessment as City suffered a 4-2 defeat away at Charlton Athletic.
"It was a poor start. I think after that they had a right good go at it and played some outstanding football at times," Nicho said after the match.
"You've got to take responsibility when you lose and I take ultimate responsibility at the moment, in the position I am in.
"We started poorly and we didn't get off the bus, and I've got to make sure that doesn't happen again.
"We had our chances and today they didn't go in, we didn't take them. I've just told them that tonight is the harsh reality of League One.
"It certainly wasn't a 4-2 performance."
