📝 Match Preview: Newport County U18s

Exeter City under-18s are in FA Youth Cup action at St James Park on Wednesday night, as they take on Newport County u18s in a 7pm kick-off.

The FA Youth Cup first round clash will be a great opportunity to see City's young players in action, the likes of Ed James, Harrison King and Pedro Borges have already been involved with the first team this season!

Brad-lee Miller's thoughts

Exeter City head of coaching Brad-Lee Miller says the under-18s are excited to be playing at St James Park ahead of Wednesday night's match against Newport County.

The young Grecians kick-off their FA Youth Cup campaign at the Park on Wednesday night, with admission just £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-18s.

Brad will be taking the team in place of Kevin Nicholson who is working with the first team at Derby County on Tuesday night.

"The boys are really excited," said Brad. "They've had a couple of days of prep ahead of the match. They love every match at the Park, from supporting the first team to getting their opportunity themselves in the FA Youth Cup."

"They are looking forward to hopefully getting some fans along to see them play. It's a bargain and hopefully they will see some good football on display.

"They are playing some really good stuff at the moment and are performing well."
