The new development at the Cliff Hill Training Ground remains on schedule for completion early next year.
The £3million building, which is being constructed using modern modular construction techniques, is being manufactured offsite and it is anticipated that it will be delivered to the ground in mid-October.
Groundworks at the site have been completed to the required stage and will resume ahead of the delivery of the modules when the contractors will return to finalise the preparations for the building delivery.
The development will provide a new and larger fitness suite, separate canteen facilities, larger changing and physiotherapy facilities, improved office accommodation and multi-use theatre/match preparation/classroom space. The project is expected to be complete by the end of January 2023.
The campaign to ‘Kit Out the Cliff’, where an inventory of items will be sponsored by businesses and individuals has been very well supported.
