Car Parking

There is limited parking available on matchday due to the residential nature of Hillsborough, with parking at the stadium permitted for permit holders only. Designated council car parking is available in the locality for a regular charge.

To be mindful of local residents it is suggested supporters avoid parking on surrounding streets if possible. There are also parking restrictions around the stadium and it may be more convenient to use the number of council-run or independent car parks, which do charge a fee.

Disabled supporters have the opportunity to purchase a matchday parking permit within Hillsborough Park, situated directly opposite the stadium. Permits are priced at £5 and can be purchased from the Ticket Office, but supporters should be advised of their limited availability.

Either get a taxi up to the ground (which cost around £10), or bus from the bus station which is a one minute walk away (as you leave the railway station entrance turn right. Cross over at the pedestrian crossing, and follow the signs). Head for the far side of the terminus. Bus No.53 to Ecclesfield runs regularly to the ground (every ten minutes), the journey time is about 30 minutes.

At the Ground

Visiting supporters will enjoy the game from the West Stand, situated behind the goal on the Leppings Lane side of the ground. Gates open at 1:30pm for entry into the stadium.

Food and Drink

A range of food and drink is available in the ground within the concourses on all stands.

Lindley Catering are Sheffield Wednesday's official Catering Partners and there are numerous options dining and drinking for supporters to enjoy during the build up to the game.

Pubs for Away Fans

According to the Football Ground Guide a pub that admits away supporters is the Railway Hotel on Penniston Road, which is the main A61 that runs by the stadium. Walk up the A61 in the opposite direction to Sheffield City Centre (Meadowhall & M1), passing a Burger King and Garage on your left, and you will reach the pub on the right, just before a railway bridge.
