Sonny Cox has given his thoughts on as he made his first home start for the Grecians in a 2-1 defeat to Derby.
Cox played a full 90 for the first team for the first time and feels that the Grecians could have got more from the game.
“I thought we played quite well for the result and obviously it was a tough game against Derby because they are a big team.
“For me, it’s about the experience and 90 minutes today.
“It was my dream as a kid to play here, I used to be here in the stands watching and now I am playing and starting it is a great feeling.
Speaking on why Gary brought him back from his loan at Bath City, “That’s why the gaffer brought me back, to get experience hopefully for next season and going on from that".
