This month’s main winner in the Exeter City Foundation monthly draw is Iain Miller who takes the big prize of £1,000. Iain is going to use the money to treat his daughter and son to a holiday.
Iain has been a City supporter for nearly 30 years: "I started supporting in 1995, my first game was at home to Torquay in the 1st round 2nd leg of the League Cup, we drew 1-1 and went out on the away goal rule."
Iain remembers many high points and list some of his favourite matches: "Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup, an unbelievable result and the scenes in the stands at the final whistle will live long in the memory.
"Torquay away in the Conference playoff semi-finals, winning the game 4-1 after being 3-1 down on aggregate with 20 minutes to go, coming back to win like that was amazing. The Promotion at Rotherham with a one-nil win, what a season back in the league!
"Beating Argyle in the JPT at Home Park, when Nardiello scored the winner in front of the away end. Absolute Limbs! Winning against Barrow last season and finally sealing promotion out of League 2 after all those playoff final defeats and celebrating on the pitch with all my friends. Such great moments!
"As for my favourite players, there are so many to choose from, but for me it’s Jamie Cureton, a proper fox in the box goal scorer.”
