Rekeem Harper has given his thoughts as the Grecians were beaten at Peterborough, despite his first goal for the club.
The Ipswich loanee struck less than a minute after coming on as a half-time subtitute at the Weston Homes Stadium, but it was a mere consolation for City who were made to pay for a poor defensive display.
"We can take positives from the second half, but it is always difficult from 2-0 down," Harper said.
"We had to go all out to get back into the game. We needed to get closer to them and tight to them, otherwise they could punish us. You felt the momentum change but football is moments.
"I'm pleased to get my first goal, I've always wanted to be a goalscoring midfielder and hopefully I can score again for the club but to contribute to three points."
