Alex Hartridge earned a clean sheet as City frustrated league leaders Portsmouth to claim a point to end the year.
When asked his thoughts on the match, Alex said, "I think we're pleased, not too much in it. I think we had plenty of chances, they had a couple across the game. With the run we've been on, we're happy with that."
And on the fans, "They were brilliant. We needed to give them something. We obviously did on Boxing Day. Night games here have been brilliant all throughout [the season]."
When asked if the confidence was returning, Alex said, "we never lost the belief that we can win games and that we can play well, but naturally you need recent evidence of doing it to really sur you on so, we're aware that its not the finished article, its not job done. We need to make sure it's the start of a run and not a false dawn."
