Exeter City defender Will Aimson has given his thoughts on the draw against Portsmouth and looked ahead to New Year's Day's trip to Reading.
Speaking after holding the league leaders to a draw at SJP, Will said: "It was a well earned point. There wasn't much in the game, a couple of half chances but I felt we looked solid.
"Second half both teams had good chances to score. But from the run we had been on we did well to get the win on Boxing Day and to back it up with another point and a clean sheet is a positive."
City know that a win against a Reading side that sit below them on the table will help to move away from the bottom four and will be determined to go get the win.
"It will be a great game to play in against a huge club. The match earlier in the season here was a great game for the club. We are focusing now on Reading and how we can beat them."
City will be backed by around 1200 fans on New Year's Day, and the players will be looking to use this backing to get over the line.
"I've said countless times how well the fans travel for us. Away wins are the best wins in football - there is nothing better than winning on the road with a strong support. They follow us all over the country and we really appreciate them!"
