Exeter City striker Sam Nombe said the players are very much up for the challenge of Saturday's match.
The first team face their toughest challenge of pre-season against a Coventry City side suffered heartbreak last season, missing out on promotion to the Premier League on penalties to Luton Town.
"We look to challenge ourselves and we are looking to impose our game and compete against them." said City's No.10.
"It will feel like a League game with the fans there and you look to impress and create a positive atmosphere for the fans and yourself. You use the final friendly to build confidence to take into the first game of the season."
