Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as City prepare to make their first trip to Wycombe Wanderers since 2017 this Saturday.
Wycombe, who City beat 3-1 in the reverse fixture at St James Park, are going through a managerial transition following Gareth Ainsworth's move to QPR, with former player Matt Bloomfield now at the helm at Adams Park.
"This will be a really difficult game," Caldwell said ahead of the match.
"They have had a culture and environment at that football club for a long period of time that is they will compete with absolutely anyone, they will put bodies on the line and work hard. We have to match that and go beyond.
"No matter what style of football you have a team, you have to bring that as a team and like I said, we have to match that and go better than that. We have to have bravery and get the ball down and play, but make no mistake we know that we will be in for a really tough physical football and we have to be ready for that."
