Kevin McDonald has previewed City's trip to Wycombe after a memorable fortnight that saw him become a Dad for the second time and score his first goal since 2018.
McDonald welcomed baby Darcy on the day the Grecians were at Port Vale - subsequently missing the match - and scored the second goal of the game in City's 2-0 win over Cambridge the following week to cap off an incredible week for the Scotsman, and he is now focused on taking on the Chairboys.
"Firstly, my partner and baby are doing well. I got there a few hours after the birth, but the manager was really good and he let me have five days up there with them. And then it was straight back down here, as it is in football," he said.
"Looking at the game there is two sides to every story isn't there, obviously we got a good result last weekend but they got beat. They've got a new manager and it's his first game at home so it'll be a big occasion, but at the end of the day there is no pressure on us, all the pressure is on them.
"We know ourselves that if we are fully focused and stick to our task, that we will have a good chance of coming away with three points."
