Fresh from scoring his first Grecian goal on Saturday, James Scott said the Grecians will be looking to show Barnsley what they can do on Tuesday night.
James fired home a fantastic strike to make it 4-0. "Scoring in front of the Big Bank, you can't really ask for more. It's been coming and Gary has shown his faith in me, said the Scottish forward who joined the club in January.
"Me and Jay (Stansfield) link up very well. It was a nice one-two and he returned it and it was a good finish and a great win.
"As soon as the first one goes in you hope many more come, the first one is the hardest and I'm so happy to get it here in front the Big Bank.
City face a Barnsley side in fantastic form, unbeaten in their last 12 matches and coming off the back of an impressive 4-2 derby win over high-flying Sheffield Wednesday.
"Barnsley are on fire right now, 12 unbeaten but we've just won 5-0 and if we take that into the game I feel we can beat them.
"We will recover, eat well and drink well on Sunday, then come back in on Monday and go over everything and go again on Tuesday.
"I'm knocking on Gary's door every day for a start! But seriously the team is doing so well and I'm happy and when I come on I try and do my best and give my all."
