Manager Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts ahead of facing former team Wigan Athletic at St James Park on Saturday.
Gary had a successful time at Wigan as both a player and manager. A five year spell as a player saw him famously lift the Emirates FA Cup in 2013. As the Latics manager he gained promotion to the Championship in 2016, winning the League One title.
Ahead of the match he said that although it will be great to meet up with Latics boss Shaun Maloney and Graham Barrow, the team will be focusing on getting the win.
"It's a really good community Club and I'm really looking forward to playing against them. Hopefully they bring a lot of supporters. It will also be special to see Shaun and Graham who are two of my closest friends in football.
"I want to show the Wigan supporters how good this club is and show how good a team we are and show us off in the right light. It will be special for me but come kick-off it's us against another team that we have to win three points. There will be no love lost, it will be fully competitive.
