Exeter City defender Pierce Sweeney has said that the team are 'raring to go' ahead of Saturday's clash with Wigan Athletic at SJP.
City have been out of action for the last 11 days due to the international break but have used the time well to prepare for Gary Caldwell's former employers.
"The mood has been good and we've trained really well this week. We are raring to go." said City's No.26.
"Wigan are going through a bit of trouble but will be a good team, the manager will know their manager really well. I expect it to be tough and they will have a threat up top - there will be a lot of Championship players who played in the Championship last year in the team.
"I expect it to be a really difficult game but expect a good atmosphere, they should bring a good number of fans. It's a big game, one we have been waiting for, for two weeks so we are ready to go."
