Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as City prepare to take on Barnsley at SJP on Saturday.
Defender and capatin, Will Aimson will be available after his red card from Tuesday night was rightfully overturned, and Caldwell was pleased with the FA's decision.
"We're really happy but frustrated," Gary said.
"After seeing the pictures it was clear, but we can't get Tuesday night back. Thankfully there is no further punishment on top of the result. Certain things have been going against us and we have to get over that."
Barnsley are flying high in League One and are the league's most in-form side away from home with four wins from five, and Caldwell once again expects the Tykes to be at their best.
"They are really picking up after not following on their amazing start. We know the test and we have to be prepared for that, but also be ready to show ourselves at our very best.
"We hope last season is a good omen, but the main thing for us is recovering physically and understanding what will be needed to pick up something.
"Hopefully one of two others will be coming back from injury which is encouraging given our schedule."
