Goalkeeper Vil Sinisalo has given his thoughts as City prepare to face Barnsley at SJP on Saturday.
City were beaten 4-1 by Charlton on Tuesday night and the Finn hopes that the group can repay the fans for their support.
"We can't be too doom and gloom and we have to look for a big performance on Saturday because we don't want out good start to fizzle out," Vil said.
"Defensively, we need to get back to being as strong as we were. Having a desire to defend is what will win you football matches. We have so much talent in the room to get us goals at the other end of the pitch.
"I love it here and it's the most I've ever enjoyed a period of my life, I've loved every minute. I have been given a platform to develop as a player and a person and could not have wished for a better welcome to a club than what I have done.
"I'm a passionate guy, you'll see me celebrate when we score and I'm desperate to do well for this football club. You'll always get that from me."
