James Scott has given his thoughts as City prepare to take on Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.
Scott returned from injury in last weekend's win over Cheltenham and is excited to back on the pitch.
"It was really good to start again [on Tuesday night] even if we don't want to talk about the result," James said.
"My plan was to get an hour out of the game, and I got that, so I'm pleased. I thought the injury was worse than it was at first so I was pleased it was only a month or so.
"Credit to the boys for playing so well recently while I was sat on the side-lines, it shows the depth in the squad that we've got.
"It's going to be hard for me to get back in the team to be honest. I can't believe I'm competing against Demi as a striker! I think that's what is good with this group though."
