Reece Cole has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to face Charlton Athletic at a sold out SJP on Good Friday.
Cole scored the winner in City's 1-0 win over Burton Albion last time out, as Gary Caldwell's side picked up seven points from a possible nine to lift themsevles away from danger at the bottom of League One. The players enjoyed a few days off following that victory, but the group are now fully focus on the busy Easter period.
"It was good to have a couple of days off just to get our bodies right after a tough week, but we came away with seven points which is a huge positive and now we've been back in and working hard on a game plan to try and win on Friday," Reece said.
"It feel like a while since we last had a game so we are all itching to get out there and play the game, and we will take all the confidence from the last game.
"It will be a tough game, like it was at their place, and they are a physical side but that may have changed since the new manager has come in - I haven't seen too much of them since then."
