Gary Caldwell has praised the City fans ahead of a sell-out crowd at SJP against Charlton Athletic on Good Friday.
Charlton head to Devon unbeaten in eight, but the Grecians have also picked up form having collected seven points from nine before the international break.
"The supporters have been incredible all season through good and bad, and stuck with this team," Gary said.
"To get a full-house on Friday will be a great atmosphere and occasion for the boys. I thought against Burton they were fantastic, they really got behind the team and gave them energy and to see them turn out again, we have to give them something.
"They want to see fast attacking football, winning football, so we have to go out there and do that. It makes a massive difference, but we need to inspire. In difficult moments they need to recognise the team need them and the way they go together last time gave us that extra man we didn't have."
Charlton have improved under manager Nathan Jones, stretching an unbeaten run to eight matches, and Gary expects a difficult test.
"He has done a fantastic job and steadied the ship. They are difficult to beat and have a big goal threat in Alfie May. I saw them live at Cheltenham recently and it is clear why they are winning matches, but we know there are areas we can exploit, so we have to focus on how we can perform and how we go about winning games."
