City are back on the road this weekend with a trip to the Brick Community Stadium to face Wigan Athletic in a 3pm kick-off.

City will be looking to build on the win over Stevenage on Saturday. Making the trip, check out all you need to know:

How to get there

By Car

The postcode for the stadium is WN5 0UH and the journey from Exeter will take around four hours and thirty minutes.

Exit M6 at Junction 25. At end of slip road (approx. 1 mile) turnleft at the roundabout, sign-posted Wigan A49. Continue past Sainsbury’s and go straight ahead at the traffic lights. Follow signs for Wigan A49 for 1.2 miles to Saddle Roundabout. At the Saddle Roundabout, take first exit sign-posted Standish A49 into Robin Park Road, driving past the Asda superstore. Follow signs for The Brick Community Stadium. For main entrance, Visiting Directors, Match Officials & Arena Parking, take the second right into Anjou Boulevard. For Stadium car parks, take the third right into Stadium Way.

By Train

The train to Wigan takes around 5 hours and involves two changes. On the day you would need to get the 7.27am or 8.27am to make it in good time. The only train that would get you back to Exeter on Saturday leaves at 5.31pm.

It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from both stations to the stadium. A taxi will cost around £6.00-£8.00

Car Parking

Follow Sat Nav WN5 0UN. Away supporters on Car Park 1, Home or neutral supporters on Car Parks 3 or 4. Hospitality supporters on Car Park 3. Avoid parking on the adjacent retail park. Parking costs are £6 for a car or motorbike, £12 for a mini bus and £22 for a coach. Where possible, coaches should be pre booked or Stadium staff notified. 

The car parks are cashless payment only - no need to book, pay on the day. Wigan Council car parks at the front of the stadium must only be used if paying the applicable fee and displaying a ticket.

At the Stadium

The North Stand is home to visiting team supporters, and also houses the Marquee Suite,a free-to-enter match day bar for away fans which is open for selected fixtures at The Brick Community Stadium. 

Away supporters may position flags in selected areas of the North Stand, however flags must not have poles attached and must not obscure sponsors’ advertising banners.

Food and Drink

The Brick Community Stadium is positioned adjacent to Robin Retail Park, which is home to several large stores including Next, Boots, Smyths Toys and Pets at Home. Within Next is a Costa Coffee café, whilst Burger King, KFC, Greggs, Nando’s and Subway are at the far side of the retail park. The Red Robin pub is approx. 500 yards from the stadium and is welcoming to all supporters, but is used mainly by fans of the visiting club.

There are mobile food vendors located around the perimeter of The Brick Community Stadium. Within the stadium concourses there are Food & Beverage kiosks that serve a variety of hot and cold snacks and drinks. Cashless only.

Pubs for Away Fans

The Marquee Suite in the North Stand is a free-to-enter match day bar for away fans which is open for most fixtures at The Brick Community Stadium. You will be able to buy hot and cold drinks and food, and watch football on the big screen.
