Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to travel to Burton Albion on Saturday for the final match before Christmas.
City head to Staffordshire looking to pick up an important win heading into the festive period, with City set to play four games in just ten days towards the end of 2024. Burton come into the game with a new manager in Gary Bowyer, which Caldwell says has slightly changed their preparation for the fixture.
"So we prepare for a slightly different version Burton, but we do so having had the experience at Blackpool [of playing against a new manager's first match in charge], knowing that the energy will be different, the stadium will be different.
"But the biggest thing for us is that we have to be ourself and be the best version of Exeter City. We have to be prepared for a new proposition on Saturday."
