Gary Caldwell has given his assessment following a 2-0 defeat to Stockport County at a wet and blustery Edgeley Park.
A Tristan Crama own goal and a penalty from man in-form Louie Barry, both in the second half, decided the game as City were unable to build momentum from Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Wycombe.
"When we get through, we don't do enough. We don't create enough chances, have enough shots, enough final actions in front of goal.
"In the second half we didn't have the same quality in our pass, build as well as we could have and we threw away a game we were very much in at half time.
"The conditions were tough but it is what it is. The pitch was good and we could pass how we wanted, but we didn't do enough when we got through their press."
