After City's defeat on the road against Stockport, midfielder Reece Cole shared his thoughts.
Two goals in the second half condemned the Grecians to defeat, which Reece admitted was hard to take.
"It's a tough one to take, watching on from the first half I felt like we had good periods of possession but we didn't solidify our status on the game enough how we wanted to," said Reece.
"That was a disappointment but we can't be too down, we've got another big game on Tuesday to look forward to."
The midfielder returned to the squad after a difficult start to the season out injured, however he's optimistic now looking forward.
"I'm feeling good, it's been an annoying start to the season picking up injuries and reoccurring injuries, but I feel in a good place now, I've been working hard on my fitness.
"Hopefully this is the start of my season now."
