Gary Caldwell on late defeat to Bolton

Gary Caldwell post Bolton

Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as Exeter City suffered a stoppage time defeat for the second time in four days.

Two late goals from Bolton Wanderers at SJP beat the Grecians, who led the contest 1-0 through Demetri Mitchell. Aaron Collins levelled with a minute left of normal time before Aaron Morley found the back of the net just two minutes later.

"We did so many good things to try and win the game, but I still think we can be better when we go a goal up and keep doing what got us into that position. That was a real sickener for us."
Gary Caldwell

"To concede one is a massive blow, but to lose it right at the end is disappointment but it is what it is and we have to learn from it.

"We can take so many good things from this game and the game before it, and ultimately they will be the things that help you win matches. We have done enough, in my opinion, over the last two games to get four points and we have thrown them away.
