Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts ahead of Saturday's clash with Stevenage at SJP.

The match is City's first at the Park in 28 days and see City looking to bounce back from Saturday's late defeat at Blackpool.

City come up against a Boro side that will be full of confidence after a strong 3-0 win at home to Barnsley last time out.

Speaking ahead of the 12:30pm kick-off, Gary was keen to emphasise the importance of the home crowd to a positive result: "When the stadium is in full flow it makes it a difficult place to play for the opposition" said Gary.

"We are looking for noise and energy. The Big Bank always has a job to play and so does the whole stadium in helping the players win the game. Hopefully we can get as many supporters in as possible to help us get a win and get the season going again.

On the threat of Stevenage Gary said: "I know their manager Alex Revell well, I signed him at Wigan many years ago. He is a brilliant character and is having an excellent start to his managerial career.

"His teams are aggressive and we have to be ready for that and start the game much better than we did on Saturday."
