Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts ahead of Saturday's trip to face Wrexham, as City hit the road for the first time in almost four weeks.
Preparations for the trip have been hampered by the Exeter weather, with heavy snow preventing several of the squad from making it to training on Thursday morning, while others have returned today from international duty.
"It hasn't been great and a lot of players have struggled to get here today, so we are trying to get as many here as possible."
"Hopefully we can go on the grass tomorrow before we travel. It's part of football, you have to be ready for anything and be ready to adapt."
Caldwell expects a difficult game against a Wrexham side whose story has been sell documented since their dramatic rise from non-league, and we are unbeaten in 14 home matches at the Racecourse Ground.
"It's been an incredible story for them and they have told it really well. But we have to be prepared to go and win in front of our 1,200 supporters, in an atmosphere that will be intense, so we have to be bang at it on Saturday."
