Gary Caldwell has expressed his delight after City recorded a second consecutive 2-0 home win, beating Mansfield Town at SJP.
Demetri Mitchell and Angus MacDonald found the net either side of the half-time break to make four unbeaten with three straight clean sheets as they continued their positive form since a mid-season training camp in Spain.
"Our defence at the moment is such a good foundation to win games. It's bodies on the line, and they had no shots on target, and to do that against a team with that strike force is incredible.
"We couldn't quite get the press in the first half an went 5-3-2 and were a little bit deep in how we got pressure on the ball, but we defended brilliantly. We changed it second half and got more pressure on the ball, and they are a tough team to play against, and they gave us problems, but we were extremely good. They had no shots on target and that shows the quality of our back-line."
"I'm delighted but we have to keep going because there are still so many games to go and lots of points to play for."
