Following his third clean sheet in a row and City's second win in the last week, Joe Whitworth gave his reaction to City's 2-0 win against Mansfield Town.
Goals from Demetri Mitchell and Angus MacDonald sealed all three points at SJP, and Joe Whitworth was pleased with the overall performance by the team.
"Really good performance. Mansfield have come here as a really physical team, they play really good football and get the ball forward and test your defence," said Joe.
"I thought we stuck firm really well today and to get another clean sheet was really good, great confidence boost for us."
Tonight's cleansheet was the third in a row for Joe and the team, taking the season's tally up to 14.
"People look at goalkeeper's clean sheets and to be able to add another one to the tally is great, just a special mention to the defence in front of me for winning every header, winning tackles, clearing the ball, I thought they were outstanding and hopefully we can keep it going."
