Following City's first win on the road since December, Gary Caldwell gave his opinions on the victory against Barnsley.

Ryan Trevitt's first goal of the season set City off before a Josh Magennis winner sealed all three points in South Yorkshire, something Gary was pleased with.

"Really good for lots of different reasons (the performance), I think we had to show all aspects of our game tonight, in possession, out of possession," said Gary.

"Would have liked to have been more in front at half-time, in that first 20 minute period we were dominant and we didn't press that home with goals."

The Grecians' opener came through Ryan Trevitt, his first strike since rejoining the club from Brentford.

"I think he's an outstanding footballer, we were so happy to get him again in January. He was coming off the back of an injury and it took him a few games to get up to speed with his match fitness, but since then he's been outstanding. He's been a brilliant player on two occasions and great for him to get a goal tonight."
