With City hosting Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day in League One, Josh Magennis shared his thoughts on the Westcountry clash.
The forward netted his second in two games against Burton on Saturday,
"Across international games that's eight (goals) for the season which I don't think is too bad at this stage of the season," Josh said. "I said before in an earlier interview though if you get hung up on scoring goals it can take away from what else you bring in the game."
For match against the Gas on Boxing Day, Josh said he backs the team against any opponent when they've got the St James Park crowd behind them.
"Playing at home, we have an advantage of course playing with the home crowd. The stadium will be a sell-out, they'll bring their full away support but it's not different to what we'd expect playing any other team, which will be a hard-fought contest in this league.
"With the quality that we have and what we're able to do going forward, I think, god-willing, we'll be able to edge it."
