Josh Magennis reacts to Cambridge win

It's four goals in three games now for Josh Magennis, as the in-form Northern Irishman netted the winner for City against Cambridge United.

The stand-in skipper's header midway through the second half was the difference between City and United at the Abbey, and Josh feels like he's currently playing his best football.

"The type of striker I am, I like to think I bring a lot more to the team than just goals. If you get wrapped up whether you score or not it can distract from what the team needs you to do.

"I always do my extras with the coaching staff, do what I need to do, and when chances arrive I back myself to score."

Josh's good form this season has primarily come in the FA Cup, and that's something that Gary Caldwell is keen to utilise in the league. Kit woman Sue sought to help Josh do this, by always making sure he's got an FA Cup logo on him.

"She stitched the FA Cup logo onto the inside of the armband, so I think that's going to be staying now!"
