Kevin Nicholson has given his thoughts as Exeter City take to the field for the final time in 2024 at home to Crawley Town on Sunday.
The Grecians will be looking to end the year with three consecutive wins after victories over Burton Albion and Bristol Rovers, but will face a Crawley side who hope to arrest a run of three straight defeats. With just three days turnaround since the Rovers fixture, Nicholson has stressed the importance of a good recovery for the group.
"Crawley will want to put things right, and they do play good football. The guys have come in there from Gateshead and their philosophy fits the club, but we have to go out there as a group and show our home supporters what we are about, and build on a good couple of results.
"Crawley will move the ball, try and play, and are very free-flowing and open. We need to be prepared for everything and they might change. We have to concentrate on ourselves and be the best version of ourselves."
