Match Preview for Brentford B and Torquay United

Exeter City are back in pre-season action on Tuesday with a double-header, first facing Brentford B before heading to take on Torquay United at Plainmoor.

City host Brentford B behind-closed doors at the Cliff Hill Training Ground in a 1pm kick-off, then face the Gulls in-front of fans in a 7:30pm kick-off.

The double matchday will give manager Gary Cadlwell the chance to make use of his whole squad.

Speaking after City's match at Bristol City, manager Gary Caldwell said: "It will be a mixture for the two teams, we will be as strong as we can for each team.

"We will look at relationships and partnerships in the team that we want to work on and pick teams based on that. Hopefully both games can be a real test and then we go into Eastleigh really prepared."

Torquay United Match

Exeter City take on Devon rivals Torquay United in pre-season, with the Grecians set to head Plainmoor on Tuesday, 30 July, 7.30pm.

Torquay United finished 18th in the National League South last season after a difficult financial situation saw them deducted ten points, however thankfully things now seem to be back on the track for the Gulls.
