Fresh from scoring his first goal since August on Tuesday night, Reece Cole has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

The strike again Wigan was just reward for Cole, who has overcome numerous injuries throughout the season, and he hopes to have a strong finish to the campaign before setting his eyes on a successful pre-season through June and July.

"To get the goal was so good, and to help the team and get a point out of it. It has been a frustrating season but it's one of those things."

"I can't look back on it now and be angry, I just have to push on and look forward. I probably pushed myself too hard and didn't listen to my body, and that's on me and something I have to learn. I felt like I had finished last season so well and I wanted to improve, and I was chasinhg performances when I was struggling. Hopefully it's back to the old Reece Cole!

"We still have five games left to try and get something out of it."
