We are delighted to announce that our upcoming men and women’s double header at St James Park on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October will be our fourth annual Her Game Too Weekend, sponsored by Optimising IT.

City men host Cambridge United at 3pm on Saturday at St James Park, before City women host Billericay the following day at the same venue at 2pm as the Grecians do their bit to support the now global Her Game Too campaign, which works towards tackling sexism and gender inequality within sport.

Across the weekend, both matches will see the squad don branded warm up tees, while there will be a wide range of social media assets explaining more about the campaign and how you can get involved. There will also be stadium announcements, big screen graphics and articles in the match day programme about Her Game Too, and supporters will have the chance to get their picture taken with our special branded photo frame which will in the Fan Zone.

There will be a special ticket offer in place for supporters who purchase for both matches – as well as men’s season ticket holders. They will receive a £2 discount on admission for the women’s fixture if purchased at the same time. Tickets can be purchased here.

Exeter City's Her Game Too ambassador Latoyah Egerton said:

“I am absolutely thrilled that the club have once again dedicated a whole weekend to shining a light on HerGameToo."

"Myself and the hundreds of fantastic women across the campaign always feel very grateful to every club who take time to work with us. Especially here at Exeter City we are a club that is welcoming to everyone, regardless of your gender.”

Clive Harrison, Director of Supporter Engagement, said: “As a supporter owned community club it is incumbent upon us to ensure that everyone feels comfortable attending games at St James Park.

“Here at Exeter City, we have seen attendances and supporter diversify grow in recent years. The attendance of women and families has been a big part of this growth and long may it continue. We are again proud to be able to show our support for Her Game Too movement which is dedicated to tackling sexism and promoting gender equality within the world of sport.

“This season has seen the newly promoted Women’s team become an integral part of the Club, this together with the excellent girl’s development program led by Exeter City Community Trust, will enable us to create even more opportunities for women and girls to thrive in the sport they love. As the Her Game Too message suggests, “Football is a game for everyone” and it truly is!

“Sexism or, in fact, any form of discrimination, although rare here at SJP, will not be tolerated. “
