The club can confirm that defender Zak Jules has opted to turn down a contract offer made to him, and has opted to join Rotherham United upon the expiry of his current deal.
Jules joined the club in July 2023 from MK Dons and ends his stay at St James Park with 47 appearances in all competitions and two fantastic goals - a long range strike against Reading and an acrobatic volley at Port Vale.
