Gary Caldwell was disappointed not to pick up three points after a dominant second half performance was only enough for a point at Morecambe.
Josh Key's equaliser just 90 seconds after Cole Stockton's opener settled the result and ended the run of consecutive defeats for the Grecians, but and Gary had mixed emotions at the result.
"I'm disappointed not to win but I'm delighted with the performance," he said at full time.
"They kept knocking on the door and I thought the goal was going to come, but it didn't. In terms of how we performed, I can't argue with that.
"I thought in the first half we took a while to get going and allowed Morecambe to pin us back, but from the goal we dominated.
"The second half was one way traffic."
