Josh Key gave his reaction after his goal helped City towards a point on the road with a 1-1 draw at Morecambe.
Key's first goal since September 2021 levelled the scores, and despite the goal, he felt the result should have been better. "
"Obviously disappointed that we didn’t come away with the three points, but I think that disappointment shows how well we played, especially the second half," he said.
"If you look at all my celebrations, I’m the worst, I’m sort of surprised when the ball actually goes in the net. I'm really happy, hopefully this means I can score a few more. The lads are always joking that it’s my one for the season, hopefully there are more to come.
"I really enjoyed the change of position with lots of freedom, when you are playing at the back you’ve got to be more pessimistic, whereas when you are playing higher up the pitch you can sort of express yourself a bit more. It sort of takes me back to my younger days when I was a kid."
