Following City's disappointing 3-1 defeat at home against Blackpool, Josh Magennis shared his thoughts.
Wearing the armband in the absence of Pierce Sweeney, Josh had a chance to put City 1-0 up that was saved before Blackpool's period of three goals in 15 minutes.
"We just caught in transition from having the ball to when we didn't have the ball, we didn't manage their attacks very well," said Josh.
"Three quickfire goals at the end of the first half were too much for us to come back from. As much as they are the negatives, we performed extremely well in the second half and we have to take the positives from that because performances like that can't linger."
City have a chance to respond with a game against high flying Leyton Orient coming up on Tuesday, which is a game Josh and the squad are already looking forward to, in order to put things right.
"The games are coming thick and fast, and we'll be looking to take the positives from the second half into that match."
